I decided to try out the top Winter 2013 trend of the Oxblood Lip. I was a bit unsure about how to pull it off, but this video from Michelle Phan is so helpful:
Here are the products that I use to achieve the look:
Maybelline New York Color Sensational Lip Liner in 547 Pleasure Red
This liner is more wine than purple, but it creates a nice warm undertone for the lipstick.
Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick 330 Sloane’s Plum
The shade of this Rimmel lipstick is just perfect for a wearable oxblood lip – not too pink and not too dark.
